Interactive Map ‌Unveils Kazakhstan’s Natural Resources

ASTANA –‌ A newly⁣ launched interactive⁣ map showcasing the natural ‌resources of Kazakhstan can now be accessed ⁢via ⁣the Tabigat.gov.kz platform, according to ⁢Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Nurlan ⁣Kurmalayev, during a briefing ⁤held on December 10 at the⁢ Central Communications Service (CCS).

A Comprehensive Overview of Environmental Data

The ‌interactive⁤ map serves as a‍ geographical information⁢ system that offers insights into the environmental⁣ landscape and natural assets throughout Kazakhstan. “This tool enables users to explore data regarding historical pollution levels and current environmental‍ pressures. Additionally, it highlights key locations for solid waste management and recycling initiatives,” remarked Kurmalayev.

Enhancing Public Awareness Through Technology

Users can also delve into extensive geographic details which include bodies of surface water, designated conservation areas, recreational‍ sites, wildlife migration patterns, and designated hunting regions. The ⁢interactive nature of this resource ensures that essential data related to ecological conservation is uniformly accessible across different platforms.

To boost interest in ecotourism endeavors within Kazakhstan, all entries on this online mapping tool are integrated with well-known digital mapping services. This feature‌ equips local residents and tourists alike with vital information ⁣as they ‍plan their expeditions across⁣ the country.

Innovative‍ Monitoring Capabilities

A standout characteristic of this interactive resource is its application of satellite monitoring technology ⁢to efficiently⁢ identify issues such as⁣ unauthorized dumping activities, illegal⁢ logging operations, and ⁢thermal anomalies within state forest territories. The ‍monitoring framework currently covers 46 focused areas‌ that encompass major urban environments as well as densely ‌populated regions.

this innovative‍ mapping initiative represents a ⁤significant step forward in ‌promoting ecological awareness while supporting sustainable tourism in Kazakhstan.
