On January 3, 2025, LG introduced two cutting-edge lifestyle projectors, the PF600U and the PF6125U, in anticipation of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 set to kick off on January 7 in the United States. These products highlight LG’s commitment to enhancing home entertainment experiences through innovative technology.
Features of PF600U: A Multifunctional Device
The PF600U model redefines versatility by combining a projector with a Bluetooth speaker and an LED mood lamp. Its design includes a stand-pole structure that aids in optimal placement and use. This projector boasts Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) paired with impressive brightness rated at 300 ANSI lumens. Users can enjoy seamless OTT streaming via LG’s user-friendly webOS platform.
In addition to its visual capabilities, the device is equipped with stereo speakers enhanced by passive radiators for richer sound quality. The integrated LED mood lamp elevates ambiance options with nine color choices and five adjustable brightness levels. Notably, it features a tilting head that allows for up to a 110-degree angle adjustment and supports automatic screen resizing for added convenience.
CineBeam S: Compact Yet Powerful Projection
LG also presented its CineBeam S (PU615U), which claims the title of being one of their most compact projectors while delivering superior performance as a 4K Ultra Short Throw (UST) device. This model achieves stunning resolution at UHD quality (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) along with an impressive output of brightness rated at 500 ANSI lumens.
The CineBeam S excels in color accuracy as well; it covers an extensive range—154% of the DCI-P3 color space—allowing for vibrant image display across various sizes from approximately 40 inches to an expansive screen up to 100 inches diagonally.
This sleek projector also features premium audio capabilities thanks to its built-in stereo sound system complete with Dolby Atmos integration alongside support for streaming directly through LG webOS. Additional functionalities include automatic adjustments for screen size and wall color settings as well as screen scaling options that enhance usability in diverse environments.
