Addison ‌Rae and Omer Fedi: A ⁣Love Story That Endures

In ⁤a recent interview featured in Rolling Stone on January 21, the ⁤24-year-old ⁣singer of “Aquamarine,” Addison⁢ Rae, discussed her rising career in pop music ⁤as well as her romantic relationship with Omer ⁤Fedi.

Emotional Insights on Romance

Describing‌ herself,⁤ Rae stated, “The Libra in me is ⁣a hopeless romantic.”‍ Her ‍love story with the acclaimed record producer, also aged 24, began when‌ they made their relationship Instagram ⁣official back in ‌August 2021. Over three years later, their⁣ bond⁣ appears to be just as firm.

Despite this ⁢happiness, the Louisiana-born artist ⁢conveys⁤ that she prefers to⁣ keep certain aspects of her life private. “I’m ⁤quite protective when it comes to my⁣ relationships because my⁣ first public romance really opened my eyes,”⁢ she noted‍ while reflecting on ⁢her earlier ⁣connection with fellow influencer Bryce Hall.

Lessons from Past Relationships

Addison’s breakup ⁢with Hall occurred for a second time in⁣ March 2021. When asked about what went wrong during their relationship, she candidly⁣ shared her suspicions: “I believe he cheated on ⁢me.” According to Rae’s perspective, ⁢Hall views things‍ differently: “He maintains that he didn’t.”

Summing up that turbulent⁣ period succinctly she remarked: “That ‍was nothing short of chaotic. He ‌was‌ very outspoken about everything; it truly was a mess.”

Nevertheless, Addison has‌ moved forward from these past grievances and‍ now holds no animosity towards⁣ Hall. Reflecting maturity beyond⁤ her years in⁤ light of what transpired between them ‌at ⁤such⁤ a young age—“I like to think ‍there’s good inside everyone,” she said warmly.

Growth⁤ Through Challenges

Now at age⁤ 24—after skyrocketing to fame through viral TikTok dances—Rae is focused entirely on cultivating her music career. In ⁢discussing how critical feedback followed her⁤ debut⁣ performance in ⁢Netflix’s “He’s All That” (a reimagined version of the classic ”She’s All That”), which hit screens back in 2021 alongside ‌Rachael Leigh ⁣Cook and Freddie Prinze Jr.,‌ she mentioned needing time for self-reflection.

Feeling increasingly scrutinized for every‍ venture outside TikTok made it hard for Addison ‍to ⁣regain confidence: “I pondered over how I would reach a place where I could embrace this journey authentically and present⁢ my best self,” she articulated.

Finally finding footing again saw⁢ great⁣ success when “Diet Pepsi” led‌ her onto the Billboard ⁣Hot 100 charts—a monumental ‌achievement showcasing resilience after adversity.

Musical Inspiration Awaits

For the ⁢creation⁤ of her⁤ new single “Aquamarine,” inspiration⁢ stemmed from both ⁤natural beauty and emotion surrounding its imagery: ‌”The term⁢ is so elegant and evokes⁢ such stunning ‌visuals;‌ I wanted to⁢ craft something that embodies those sensations,” explained Rae passionately.

Currently focusing intently on⁣ completing her album while gearing up for an appearance alongside stars like Aubrey Plaza and Ryan ‍Reynolds in the upcoming comedy ‌ Animal Friends ⁣scheduled for release on October 10th.
