Victoria Beckham: Chief of Festive Beverages, Not⁣ the Kitchen

Victoria Beckham has recently divulged her designated role during the Christmas⁢ festivities, and it’s quite pivotal. During an engaging conversation with Zanna Roberts Rassi on the December 16 episode of Hoda‌ & Jenna, she quipped, “I’m not in charge of cooking; my specialty ⁤lies in mixing drinks.” The accomplished fashion mogul, ⁤aged 50, humorously noted her responsibility as the family bartender—“someone has to take on that job.”

In contrast to Victoria’s drink-prepping duties, her husband David Beckham—49 years old and a retired ‍soccer star—is tasked with managing the culinary aspect. “David is ‌in charge of cooking; ‌he’s surprisingly talented in that ‌domain,” she shared during‌ their chat. “He relishes all aspects of meal preparation.”

Christmas Cooking: A Family Affair

The couple is blessed with⁣ four children—Brooklyn (25),‌ Romeo (22), ⁤Cruz (19), and Harper (13)—all of whom are cognizant of their mother’s admitted lackluster skills in the kitchen. Earlier ⁢this year, Victoria discussed her ⁤strategy for minimizing stress⁤ while juggling family life in an interview ‌with The Telegraph. ‌”I sidestep tasks ⁤I genuinely⁢ believe I ‌cannot handle,” she stated ⁤candidly about her⁤ aversion to cooking.

In a lighthearted jab at his mom’s culinary expertise, Brooklyn once remarked that even boiling water proves challenging⁣ for her. “Harper often jokes saying ‌I can’t cook‌ at all,” Victoria‌ recounted.

Culinary Traditions Passed Down

Reflecting ‍on familial cooking dynamics during an interview with The Times, Brooklyn attributed his passion for food preparation to watching his father at‌ work: “Dad was always our household chef; Mum⁤ wasn’t⁤ really involved.” He reminisces fondly about spending time alongside David as they cooked together and savored delicious aromas enveloping their home.

The ⁣eldest ⁣Beckham son frequently shares his own culinary creations across social media ⁢platforms. This includes a series titled⁤ Cookin’ with Brooklyn that aired on‌ Facebook Watch from 2021-2022. In this show, he collaborated closely with notable chefs‍ and celebrities to invent ⁤distinctive dishes.

Togetherness Through Cooking

Today, Brooklyn highlights how he and ‍his siblings ⁢have turned cooking⁣ into a bonding experience ‌rather than a competition—which often comes laden with playful teasing‍ typical among siblings. “Despite our playful rivalry over who cooks better—we just enjoy hanging⁢ out together,” he mentioned during his interview. “It becomes this communal joy where we share music while we whip up ‌meals together—it really is⁣ wonderful.”

Through these shared‌ experiences surrounding food prep—masterminded by David’s efforts and enjoyed by ‍all—the‌ Beckhams illustrate how love transcends ‍through⁣ culinary practices within families during festive seasons.
